Driving a Car in InZOI

In InZOI, you can not only drive a car (manually or automatically) and park it, but also use it for ownership, relationships (dating, marriage), transporting “items” (as in The Sims), and even for special careers such as firefighter or police officer that require a vehicle. This means cars are a central part of life, travel, work, and social interaction.

What you can do with cars:

Driving: Drive manually (WASD keys) or let the car drive automatically anywhere in the city at different speeds.
Ownership & Purchase: Buy and own different cars. Only one family member can purchase a car. Real car brands are available.
Careers: Use cars for professions such as firefighter (fire truck) or police officer (patrol car).
Relationships & Dating: Go on dates by car, for example to romantic locations, and transport your partner.
Leisure: Drive around for fun, listen to music, or use the car for sightseeing activities, just like in real life.
Crimes: You can even be arrested for crimes such as traffic violations (running people over), adding a realistic dimension.



How it works:

Manual Driving: Go to Options > Gameplay > Driving and enable “Manual Driving” to control with WASD.
Buying Cars: Go to the “Buy” tab in the car app to choose from various models.

In essence, cars in InZOI are more than just transportation; they are an integral part of daily life simulation, similar to The Sims but with more detail and focus on interactivity.

Automatic Driving (Default)

How: Select a destination on the city map and your Zoi drives there automatically.
View: Your Zoi appears to drive from a distance, but you can switch to a first-person “shoulder view” by pressing Tab during the ride.

Manual Driving (Experimental)

Enable: Go to Options > Gameplay and turn on “Manual Driving Mode”.
Control: Use WASD keys to drive.
View: Switch between third-person and first-person (Tab).
