We’ve previously shared emotion animations in these two posts here and here. You might recognize some of them! Last time, we said that we were going to start children's animations, but with the programmers currently working on systems around emotions and personalities, it made more sense for us to switch our priorities and work on the animations needed for these! But don’t worry, we will go back to them later!

How will our Emotion Animations Work For every emotion your Para will experience, the goal is to have multiple variations to add more depth and life. Alice and I had a lot of fun brainstorming our ideas and researching references! Later on, we would love to eventually add a color code or 2D effects to make it easier to understand how your Para is feeling! We’ve also been working on new animations to go with your Parafolks’ vibe, which we’ll showcase in a future post. In the meantime, here’s a little reminder of how vibes work.
Please note that the list of emotions and everything shown today is still a work in progress and may change in the future!
What’s Next?Next, we will be jumping on a very secret and exciting task! That's all I can say about that.
