To build houses in inZOI, use Build Mode, where you place walls, rooms, and roofs. Start from the top-left corner for building options and make use of blueprints for a quick start. Features like the Alt key (similar to The Sims) allow you to freely place objects or overlap roofs.

Steps for building a house:
1. Enter Build Mode: Open the build menu, usually via an icon in the corner or by clicking on an empty lot.
2. Use building tools: Select ‘Building’ (or a similar option) to place walls, rooms, stairs, and roofs.
3. Start with a layout: Use pre-made blueprints (house blueprints) to quickly get a base floor plan.
4. Place walls and rooms: Draw walls and create rooms, similar to The Sims but with an updated interface.
5. Roofs and Overlapping:
• Use the ‘Building’ option to place roofs.
• Hold the Alt key while placing roofs to overlap them (without walls on that floor), a recently added feature.
6. Place objects: Hold the Alt key while placing furniture to freely move them, similar to a cheat in The Sims.
