Team
Alex Massé (Founder and Lead Developer)

@_amasse

Alex is a professional software engineer, game designer and artist. As a lifelong fan of simulation and city building games, Alex sees Paralives as an ideal opportunity to create powerful build tools and simulation elements that he has always wished to play with. Alex has been creating games since he was in High School, 13 years ago. He has worked on games like PewDiePie’s Tuber Simulator, demo projects for Unity’s Project Tiny, educational games for kids and participated in lots of Game Jams.

Léa Sorribès (Game Artist)

Léa has a master's degree in Video Game Art. Passionate about simulation games and storytelling, Paralives is the perfect opportunity for her to create endearing characters and environments, allowing the players to create exciting stories through the game. During her studies, she created several games, participated at the Global Game Jam, and also worked part-time on Paralives. Since then, she joined the team as a full-time Game Artist.

Anna Thibert (Programmer and Game Designer)

Anna is a professional programmer with an eclectic academic background including musicology, computer science, and bioinformatics. She found in Paralives a way to satisfy her passion for simulation games and her love for multidisciplinary work. The big challenge of designing and programming such an ambitious game within an indie team resonates with both her creative side and her technical skills. She is particularly excited by simulating human psychology and behaviour through the life simulation genre!

Alice Joubin (3D Animator)
Alice has a lot of passions that she has been following since her childhood, ranging from animation films to indie and simulation games. She has been working in various fields: VR projects, TV series (Skylanders S3), video games (The Crew 2), VFX movies (mostly on Godzilla VS. Kong, Top Gun Maverick, Clifford The Red Big Dog and Cruella). She is now very proud and excited to be a part of the Paralives team, and hopes to bring life and personality to all of your future creations!

Jérémie Tessier (Programmer and Game Designer)
Jérémie is a professional programmer and has a bachelor's degree in game design. He has been designing and creating games since he was a child and is using Unity since 2013. He enjoys many genres of games and has a soft spot for simulation. Working on Paralives allows him to wear his favorite hats - design and implementation.

Sonia M’hamdi (Game Artist)
Sonia has always been passionate about art and video games. She combined her two interests to study and graduate with a master's degree in Video Game Art. During her studies, she worked on several games and has participated in the Global Game Jam. Some of her favorite type of games are Roguelikes, Sandbox and, of course, simulation.

Andrei Castañon (Music Composer)
Andrei is a pianist, composer, multi-instrumentalist and self-taught producer who is passionate about video games and films ever since his childhood. With over 5 years of experience doing indie projects and freelance, he is ready to bring fresh ideas to this project and make Paralives sound like nothing has ever sounded before.

Chloé Ouellet (Game Artist)
Chloé is a 3D environment artist who has chased her dream of working in the game industry since her high school years. Previously, she got to work on and lead a multitude of games projects ranging from AAA titles to mobile games, and even got to be a teacher in the field. She hopes to bring her passion and experience to the table to create appealing environments for Paralives.
