While there is no definitive confirmation yet that fishing will be a direct gameplay feature in the early versions of Paralives (as seen on the game’s Steam page), it is a popular community suggestion and something the development team is seriously considering for future updates. Since the focus is on deep simulation experiences and interaction with the natural world, it is very likely that fishing will eventually be included.

What we know (and don’t know):
• Animals are confirmed: Dogs, cats, and horses will be in the game, but pets will not be available immediately at the Early Access release in 2026.
• Many community requests: Fishing is one of the most frequently requested activities, alongside other nature-related features.
• Focus on depth: The team aims for complex interactions with the world, so fishing would fit well within the game’s overall vision.

In short: Keep an eye on future updates from the Paralives blog for official confirmation, but fishing is a strong contender.
