Hello everyone,

The inZOI team is back from the year-end holidays and excited to resume development. We are focusing on strengthening core foundations under the Fundamentals First approach while preparing new features in parallel.

Weekly development updates are now routine, and we enjoy organizing updates we think players will appreciate. Our goal remains to make inZOI a game where players can project their own lives, laugh, and find comfort. We aim to develop alongside our players.

- Goals & Habits: Keeping actions consistent for about two months turns them into habits. We’ll continue this communication weekly.

**Community Feedback Highlights**

**Animation Improvements**
- Positive reception to couple bathing and expanded affection animations.
- Expanding group activities, simultaneous interactions, and stroller features.
- Testing interactive babies in strollers and limited “walking together” family features.
- Affectionate interactions continue to expand (kissing, hugging, comforting).

**Genetics System**
- Concerns about children not properly inheriting facial features and repetitive appearances.
- Suggestions include blending facial features, dominant/recessive traits, and regional characteristics.
- Current system includes randomness; improvements will be explored.

**Daily Life & Interface Improvements**
- Requests: adjustable action durations, click-and-drag interactions, UI locking.
- Plan: unified action duration settings across looping motions.
- CAZ improvements: separate outfit/makeup presets, expanded body/face customization, voice tone adjustment (in design phase).

**NPCs & Social Interaction**
- Desire for natural NPCs, random animations, conversations, street life, and stronger family/friend interactions.
- Requests: multiple Zois meeting, group conversations, synchronized movement.
- Simultaneous movement features in development; technical challenges remain.

**Crime & Career System Improvements**
- Requests: rebalance criminal careers, mini-games, hideouts, bribery systems.
- New ideas: thieves leave traces, evidence can speed up arrests.
- Additional requests: police careers, realistic traffic, driving, ambulance responses.

**City & Environment Content Expansion**
- Suggestions: cultural identity systems, seasonal decorations, amusement parks, movie theaters, natural disasters.
- City expansions inspired by K-pop and Akihabara-style districts.
- Optimizations allowing land expansion and features like drive-in theaters continue.

**Other Major Requests**
- Underwater swimming and scuba diving with WASD controls
- Improved baby/toddler/child behavior and appearance
- In-game music player with custom music support
- Adult content: crime, drinking, smoking
- Console and Mac support, mod support
- Expanded jobs/careers: K-pop, fashion, crime, fishing, etc.
- Stronger social media, conversation, and phone features
